Metaphysics

General introductory survey of traditional issues in metaphysics such as the existence of God, the mind-body problem, identity through time, the problem of universals, free will, the nature of time, etc.

Philosophy of Language

General introductory survey of contemporary issues in the philosophy of language such as work on theories of truth and meaning, the nature of speech acts, theories of reference, the nature of propositional attitudes, theories of interpretation and translation, etc.

Ethical Theory
